Taskbar at top of screen

I was adjusting the sound in fsx I then configured the adjustment and restarted fsx. A blue bar appeared at the top of the screen . It blocks out part of the overhead panel on a/c that have one. Its a real annoyance. Have tried all my limited expertise to get rid of it but no luck.Does anyone know how to remove it? :-/

You men the one that comes up afer you press "alt"?  Press "Alt" again for a couple of seconds and tap your *right* foot three times while holding the "alt" button down.    The foot tapping is optional.  ;)

The ALT GR key to be exact... dunno if it works with ALT.

No not the task bare with flights aircraft options etc. This is a solid blue bar with microsoft fsx at the top left and your min max close at the top right and as I said nothing will get rid of it,at least with my knowledge of computers.

Sounds like you're in Windowed mode. Try pressing Alt + Enter.

Thanks everyone. You were correct I was in windowed mode.I noticed when fsx came  up after hitting ''fly now'' it started in a smaller window then went to full screen. How it got there after adjusting my sound is beyond me. But now its back to normal. 8-)
