WING VIEWS ON AEROSIM 747-SP/100/200/300

Postby Brett Hill 2 » Mon May 26, 2008 12:52 pm

I have bought myself the aerosim Boeing 747 which is meant to be used with primarilly fs2004 and has been updated several times to make it more and morte compatable with fsx. everything seems to work on it fine except trying to find a way to bring up the wingviews. there are certain dedicated models under each livery which are for either wing view model, virtual cockpit model or nothing atall... but I can only seem to get the virtual cockpit model to work dispite changine to the wingview model... i know this all sounds so confusing but if I put it like this...

I pick the model in the aircraft selection which only has wing views, then when I come to fly it It puts me into virtual cockpit with all the instruments etc. Even I i press "S" or "A" through all the views it takes me round in circles without finding a wingview.

Has anyone else who has these aircraft also got the same problem??? I have a feeling it is because there is meant to be a list of views and angles in the Aircraft CFG file where there is only one small line for a view instead.

Help!

Something like that.  The F-14 Tomcat has several "Monted camera views" but they are more than just one line.  I cut-n-pasted them into the .cfg of a BD5-J, and that worked just fine, except the views were a bit off since the BD5-J is much smaller. :P

Yuo can experimetn by making a copy of the config  (and renaming the original to "aircraftorig" or whatever, and cut and paste the other views from the other configs into the copy you just made, then paste the modified into that ac and see what happens.  If it don't work, just delete it and rename "aircraftorig" back to "aircraft", and everything should be back to normal.
