landing on a aircraft carrier

I am having problems catching the lines and when i do it slows down but when I put it into full just in case it magically unattaches from the line :cheesy :cheesy
please help

Tried the Acceleration tutorial missions? It takes a bit of practice

I have use the tutorials and when I dont throw it to full power at the end I land sucessfully ;), but if true carrier guidelines are followed you should go to full power in case you miss the wire

FSX can't be perfect, but just practice it and learn the best way for you

You must go full-power, but not afterburners. Also, you must cut the throttles as soon as you see that you successfully catched the wire. I have no problems with that procedure in my FSX.

do you have vista because that sometimes cause problems in fuctioning in some parts of FSX [smiley=embarassed.gif]
