BEST GRAPHICS CARD YET NO ANTIALIASING!!!

ever since I have had fsx I have been starting a flight with grea performance and no problems except when I get into about a min after spawning, and thats when all my antialiasing just simply dissapears leaving me with a botchy and pixelated screen. this has been happening to me for ages but i have finnally wanted to do something about it.
i find it weird as I have a laptop which seems to keep its antialiasing even thou it has a

single core amd.
2gb ram,
go6950m nvidia gpu,
windows vista 32bit Home prenium

AND ITS A LAPTOP FOR HEAVENS SAKE. yet my powerfull Desktop pc with a

quad core q6600 ,
ASUS 8800gtx gpu,
3gb ram ,
650w psu,
windows home prenium 32bit also.

yet that has problems. I am really confused as to what it causeing my antialiasing to dissapear during flight and i have managed to exclude the antialiasing tick box in fsx and the nvidia control panel as I have messed around with those too.

There must be a fix out there. help!

download a tool called nHancer. It should bypass the default Nvidia AA.

Forgot where the thread was that has specific instructions on how to do it though. :-/

My comp is nowhere near what yours is.... but I got the nHancer and it really did help. So if it will help on an old single core, 1 gig memory system, it should definitely help on yours!

I find it unlikely installing Nhancer is going to cure AA woes - $100 it's your video drivers, basically the thing that allows MSFS to communicate to your videocard. I've tried a great deal of Nvidia drivers, some worked, some didn't. I'm currently on 174.74 with no such problems.

1. To install new drivers, first download them.

Download 175.16 first, and follow the rest of the steps. I personally haven't tried them as I'm on dialup speeds at the moment (blew 25gb in less than a month), if 175.16 doesn't work then you can download 174.74 which I assure you does work.

2. Go into control panel\ add & remove programs - and uninstall Nvidia display drivers. Restart.

3. Download this:

Clean your computer of Nvidia DISPLAY drivers. Restart.

4. Install new drivers.

5. Once FULLY installed, delete a folder called 'Nvidia' on your C:\ drive, it's just used by the installer and is a waste of space.

6. Go into Nvidia control panel and give fsx some anti-aliasing. If MSFS has Anti-aliasing then you can improve image quality even more by doing the Nhancer tweaks that other members have recommended to you. If AA still doesn't work try 174.74.

thanks alot... I have managed to get all antialiasing working absolutely fine with no problems. I can do nlong flights and come back to my computer to have a landing with fantastic graphics again.thanks alot   )))))
