Half screen problem

Postby peterram430 » Sun Apr 13, 2008 4:01 pm

Hi,

I've downloaded the S.A. Bulldog from SimV. I followed the readme closely, but there is a problem. When I fly it the screen is squashed into the top half of the monitor. Also when I do anything that shows in the bottom of the screen (brakes, right click) when I undo the action i continues to show until I restart FS.

The problem only happens with this plane.

Any ideas? :)

I get the same thing when I install the X-24 for FS2004 in FSX.

This has happenned to me a few times. I read that you can fix it by modifying the panel.cfg file, where it says:

render_3d_window=1

Change the '1' to a '0'

Yeah, also happened to me with a Jet-waco I downloaded. Too bad to, because it was a fun plane to fly.

The problem is with the panel. I suspect it was originally intended for FS9. Try tweaking the Panel.cfg as PerrierBaroudeur suggested.

I tried editing the panel, and that solved the problem for the X-24A

W00t!

Of course I lost all the guages and the sounds, so I did the usual (why didn't I think of *this* before) swap panels and sounds, and to say "Woo-Hoo!" would be an understatement.

I used the panel and sounds from the F4D-1 N. O. T. S. Skyray.

Thanks for all the replay.

I've changes the panal cfg and now all looks good, apart from missing gauges and sound, but I'll experiment tonight and maybe copy the Grob Tutor's files to see if that works.
