Excellent work guys, the website works perfect, although it took me a little while to understand how the comparison screenshots were working :P

I have one of the versions installed and I can't find it (on my HD) anywhere...where is the exe located?

Well, the only version that works and does its thing is with me and the beta testers, so yours is purely a GUI thing, to demonstrate in the early stages how I got it to look like FSX.

Speaking of which, and I think I've said this somewhere before, I'm making a DLL called FSX_GUI which should be usable by any programmer in C#.  This means anyone, after I release FSWC will be able to easily have their own FSX-style GUI, via my DLL, so I'll probably make it open source ;).

Can't say, mustn't say.

I've always said, with programming projects one should never make predictions about release.

However, in the event that you have to, always make your rough guess, then add 3-4 months.

If I'm lucky, we could hit beta this month, but I hate making predictions.

The program already works, but it ain't exactly user friendly yet, so that's what we're working on, along with shifting the UserControls over to a dll ;).

Just a small update, not worth creating a new topic.  Basically, it's the fact that I've managed to get over an annoying hurdle with the UserControls.  Right now, I've completed two controls which were marginally more complex than the regular buttons, and those were the trackBar (slider), and the playPause button.  Don't ask why the playPause button was a pain, it just was, so leave me alone.

Controls to still be completed:
statusBar - should be really easy
infoColumn - should be really easy, basically the same system as the above
previewPane (includes buttons) - this'll be a pain, but it removes any issues I'll have in the future, so I'm glad that I'm making it simple for the rest of the program
comboBox - this'll also be a pain, but not as much as the above.  It'll basic drop down a menu bar, which, if Windows permits, will either fade or roll down, either doesn't matter.

The main basis for the dll is to make stuff easier to deal with, however, it also has the purpose of making the controls sexier.  They will now fade nicely.  I might upload a quick demonstration, but not right now.

That's all for now,

Ashton

I thought I'd just make another small update.

A few things have change quite a bit now, with FSWC.

I've done a few modifications to the end screen, and now it shouldn't cause FSX to run slower.

The previous working version degrade FSX's performance a little because of a timer involved with the slideshow.
