Lost my 747-400's

Postby theduke » Tue Apr 08, 2008 3:28 pm

Yesterday I download a couple of new repaints for the 747. I put the texture folders into the 747 folder and copy/pasted the additions to the CFG file. It is a process that I am familiar with. When I opened FSX, I no longer had any 747 in the list. I went back in and deleted the additions to the CFG and the 2 new texture folders but still no 747's show up to chose from. I can't figure out what happened. Anyone have any idea of where I can look to fix the problem??

First thing to check is the [fltsim.x] headers. The first one must be [fltsim.0] and the rest in order.

If any one is misnumbered or out of order then none will show from that point down.

At that time [1909] the chief engineer was almost always the chief test pilot as well. That had the fortunate result of eliminating poor engineering early in aviation.

Just go get the backup of the cfg file you made, before editting it ...

(sorry.. couldn't resist)

If push comes to shove.. just email your cfg file to me, and I'll restore it to original.
