MyTraffic X Questions

Postby evanatorx » Thu Apr 03, 2008 3:25 pm

I have MyTraffic X, and I'm ready to install, just have a few questions.

I would like to backup my World Of AI files, what files do I need to take out?

Also, is MyTraffic X going to slow my game down significantly? Will i have to expect some graphics downgrading to make things run well?

Thanks everyone...

To back up your AI files look in the scenery/world scenery/scenery  folder the AI files are usually the last files just copy them to a folder outside of FSX
As for the other question you will more than likely have to make adjustments as to how much of an adjustment that will depend upon what kind of aircraft the program uses. but even if it uses aircraft similar to WOA it will still have an effect on frame rates. 8-)

Taking the AI out from the scenery folder will remove everything? Or are there other files I should be worried about.

Hi, i use version 5.1b of MyTraffic X, it has a few different options regarding resolution & performance.

I previously used version 5.0 at 35% for AI and general AI.

I now choose the lower resolution & animation option which lets me run at 50% with no problems.

There is also another option to use Fast performance Airports which reduces the Jetways, meaning you can run with your settings at Dense/very dense with not much hit on Jetways.
I use this setting as i dont bother about jetways (which cause a lot of FRS drops).

With all the reduced settings i run my AI at 50-60%
I have tried it at 80%, but only at some airports and will need to test it more. I dont recommend running it at over 60% anyway.

The setting in MytrafficX will change a lot depending on you setup, cpu, ram, gpu, psu etc.....
