How do I get my throttle to work on all 4 engines

Postby Ole Andreasen » Tue Mar 18, 2008 7:26 pm

I fly small planes mostly, but today I tried the 747 and I got all 4 engines started. When I used my throttle (Saitek X52) only the engine 4 responded. How do I get the throttle to work on all 4 engines?

In the opening screen of FSX scroll down to settings, then to Controllers.  Open these up and you will find your controller listed in a box, then take the far right column for axes, scroll down past the individual throttle, mixture and propellor controls, to where an option for all engines is available.

Click on new assignment, move the throttle for it to be recognised, click OK and it will then operate all engines together.

I am a little surprised as this is the default.  So maybe just clicking on reset defaults will get you this anyway.

EDIT: It worked like a charm... Thank you again. Sorry - gotta fly!
