Sorry, not sure what you wanna do?

Just like normal texture editing...

open with DXTbmp,
send to editor of your choice,
edit,
save,
done.

Or do you want to change your entire Ai world?
Then I'd recommend "World of ai".

Cheers,
Fabian

For example, when I start a free flight, the sim shows a 737 in paint #2, I would like to change it to another existing texture (paint #6) and so on, I want to know if I can make small changes like that.

If you've already edit the textures I'd recommend editing the config file. But that's easy.

Make a new folder
texture.yourpaint

[fltsim."last number + 1"]
title=Boeing 737-800 yourpaint
sim=Boeing737-800
model=
panel=
sound=
texture=yourpaint
kb_checklists=Boeing737-800_check
kb_reference=Boeing737-800_ref
atc_id=N737W
atc_airline=Boeing
atc_flight_number=""
ui_manufacturer=Boeing
ui_type=737-800
ui_variation=yourpaint

Done!
Got you PM, hope this helped,

Or you just overwrite the existing textures BUT BE SURE TO BACKUP EVERYTHING!

Cheers,
Fabian

I strongly recommend www.world-of-ai.com

What I did was I downloaded textures for my default A321, 737-800, 747 and CRJ.

I then copied the textures into the default plane folders and edited the aircraf.cfg to use the textures.

Sounds hard but these texture files have readme's to help with this process.

Now not only have I got WOAI but my default planes have real liveries.

Eg. my A321 is US airways texture

Try it, well worth the effort.
