Heya There!
Got a lil question about a Perfect Approach in FSX.
my question is; HOW TO Perfect Approach ?
Some guys told me some info bud my plane crashed if i tried to.
Could YOU help me ::)
Oh yea, what i found on the internet was;
Tune the nav1 to the runway's frequency (found on GPS), and just adjust the CRS Knob to the runway heading. Use the nav hold switch untill you intercept the glide slope. Then press the approach hold switch.
Bud if i try that, my plane flips out and crashes. :'(
I fear you maybe trying to run before you can walk here, but, you asked about ILS approaches, so here goes:
1) Have a look here: http://www.navfltsm.addr.com/ils.htm & here: http://www.navfltsm.addr.com/ils-appr.htm This site explains the basics very well.
2) Take a look at this tute here: http://www.simviation.com/cgi-bin/yabb2 ... 1111322151
The tute is done using the 737, but you really should be using something like a small Cessna to learn in, you'll learn a lot quicker & get less frustrated. Also make sure you well up to speed on what approach & flap speeds are used for the aircraft your using.
Cheers,
TSC.
