I need those pictures of the white squares you are seeing posted in this thread when you get a chance, thanks

Try to take good ones that show the issue from several viewing angles/perspective

Hey Nick, I spent a couple hours flying around in FSX, using both DX9 & DX10. In DX9, I never saw any white squares, and my lights work fine. I did notice that with DX10, my progressive taxi arrows disappeared. A little surprising since I was at an airport i've never been to. Has anyone else noticed this also?

LOL

No problem... I have sent out emails to find out about that. Its the weekend so there is no one in offices to write back. If I hear anything and if there may be a work-a-round I will post it.

You said you don't run DX10? Why not?

Hmmmmm

Well, I think the best answer to that question, would be another question

Why would I want to place myself, my data and my mission critical applications in the line of fire of an OS that is problematical, buggy, needs another service pack (at least SP2) and since DX10 is a preview in FSX, will not provide me any improvement in visual quality for FSX?

Who needs DX10?

;)

You've got a point. Maybe I'll just stick with DX9 for now...
