Did you purchase the boxed version from Aerosoft? Or did you download it from simMarket?

I'm not sure about the install process for the cd boxed version, but make sure there is a line in the fsx.cfg under [Main] to include MyTraffic.  Example below.  If you have fsx Deluxe you can activate the traffic toolbox within MyTraffic.  You'll need to modify the dll.cfg file to do so.  I've included an example below.

It only cancels out if you mix a FS9 traffic.bgl in the same folder as a FSX traffic BGL. Seeing how My Traffic X is a FSX product, I doubt your default will be effected. Although I would recommend disabling your default AI as it hogs the resources, with My Traffic X you wont notice them missing
