Do you guys empty your scenery cache...

Just curious what effect unchecking or checking the empty scenery cache option has and which way is the best to choose, enabled or disabled?

I don't even cache my scenery, just have it read straight from the disk. You should check the "Clear cache" if you cache any of your sceneries and have limited disk space, otherwise there is no reason to clear it.

Basically what the cache does is load up all the textures for a certain region, so when you're lying it doesn't load them. The down side is loading takes longer and when crossing regions your sim may lock up for a few seconds while the scenery is cached. If you haven't set any of your scenery (mainly add-on) to be cached, then there is no reason to clear it.
