FSX Acceleration worth getting?

According to the famous Aces (?) yes.....you should get a "few" more fps

More FPS is not guaranted. Some people had a significant increase in DX10 mode, other people had significant decrease. The performance is closely linked to the quality of your hadware and even more for to the drivers !
In any case, a majority of people is reporting about a large improvement for the blurries when flying low and fast.
I don't know yet for the old mono-core CPUs, I asked on another forum, waiting for feedback.

By the way, Alrot, you have such a mono-core CPU right ? Just like me. Did you get any improvements with blurries ? I mean, can you fly faster without getting blurries ?

Guys, do remember to do a good "Defrag" on your FSX disk always before flights, specially if you have downloaded and installed programs or whatever............I also have found that having FSX in a disk by itself with a lot of space increases your fps considerably...FSX dos not like a full disk at all!!!......and close all the stuff old Bill likes to open up as you start your system........do you use a tablet?..no? kill the thing it disturbs FSX.....and like it many other stuff, specially with Vista, the thing opens up all kind of junk you never use, but interrupts and gobles up ram memory.......

Hola, amigo......no me meti usando el programa FPSTweaks.......pero no me deja ir al menu principal, revienta cuando lo hago......realmente no me importa, lo unico que buscaba era el SP2 y poder usar el DX10---que no se realmente como "activarlo" en Vista.........que lio!!!

hay si no lo puedo ayudar mi pana, tengo practicamente lo elemental para que corra FSX sp2 y Xp y una piche targeta de video ,pero me anda de verdad bastante bien...

jajajajajajajaja......yo tengo bastante hardware pero hasta dentro de unos dias me llega una tarjeta de video buenasa.......por ahora vuelo entre 18 y 26 fps, que es pasable.....

hahahahahahah...( laugh in English(??))....I have enough hardware but it wont be until a few more days that I get a pretty good video card.......my flights are giving me from 18 to 26 fps, which I can live with...
