I need help

Postby howdydude123 » Fri Oct 05, 2007 5:34 pm

I installed the FlightDeck Companion for FSX. But when ever i click a sound it says "file not found". I put it in my sound directory folder. Im sure the reason is that the sound directory for fs9 is different. Can somebody explain what i should do to fix it?

There is no difference as far as to where the main sound folder is at between FS9 and FSX so I doubt if that is the issue. It is obvious that you do not have it in the correct place. I suggest you read the read me file that should have come with it it is possible that the file just be in the root folder and not in a folder at all. 8-)

But it said "Put it in your main sound directory". Is that not Flight Simulator X\Sounds? If not then why didnt the readme say "Place in root folder"? Altough i will try it.

Ok you are correct that is where the sounds belong did you put them in a folder with in the sound folder  ::)
The files should go in the main FS sound folder
