Better not fly over the UK, smoking is banned in public places  ;D ;D

1. Captain, if the problem is not entered into the technical logbook.........then the aircraft does not have a problem.
2. And, if you have time to write the fault on a napkin and attach to it to the yoke.........you have time to write it in the tech log....see point 1.

::) Smoke is only available for the extra 300s and you get it by pressing (deffault buttons) the letter I while flying the extra300s. fs2004 has different colored smoke in their downloads but FSX doesn't.

Not using FSX (my PC can't handle it) but going from FS9 (and many previous versions) you just need to open up the aircraft.cfg file of say the Extra 300 and copy the SMOKE section, then paste it into the aircraft.cfg of the plane you want to add it too (at the bottom of the .cfg file is best) ;)

[SMOKESYSTEM]
smoke.0=-10.00, -0.70, 0.0, fx_smoke_w

The numbers represent the coordinants of where the smoke starts. I am not sure which number is which
