Should I buy FSX with this computer

Postby mozfan » Thu Aug 16, 2007 11:52 am

Hello,
Sorry if this has been addressed elsewhere, I will be buying FSX or FS9 and would like to know how FSX will run on my computer.  Frame rates are important.  Here is what I am running....

-XPS 410, Intel Core 2 Duo Processor E4300 (1.8GHz,800FSB) with 2MB cache
-2GB DDR2 SDRAM at 667MHz
-256MB NVIDIA GeForce 8600GT- DDR3
-250GB SATA II Hard Drive (7200RPM)
-Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium Edition

Any help you van provide is greatly appreciated, thank you.

You're asking me if it will run? Off course man, great computer, great VGA. But the processor Core Duo 1.8GHz  like mines, or you change, or do a great overclock..And buy a good Font Power..minimum 600W like thermaltake, PC Power, Huntkey...

thanks...

Yea im thinking of uping my Vid card at some point but im straped at the mo.

one other thing that i tend to look at tho is what system iv got and how long i will use it or some program on it.

im my eyes at least i think that now iv got FSX i will keep it for a long time and continue to use it, so all tho my PC is not up to giving it a full everything on max (all tho nothing is at the mo) at some point my system will probable be up the task and more.
