FSUIPC  ??????

Postby caveman16 » Fri Aug 10, 2007 8:48 am

Good morning Guys,

As I was  reading about the different programs for our Flight Sim, I keep coming across this one program that I can't understand the meaning for.   Perhaps one of you could / would explain to me in a nutshell just what this program is for, who needs it, how does it work, etc, etc.

I guess I'm just dense as I haven't ever used it but thought that it may help me in the Flight Sim in areas that I wasn't aware of before.

Appreciate your your input and help.

     Have a good one, - - -caveman

caveman,

FSUIPC is mainly an interface program that is able to access the data stream that is coming out of flight sim and allow other programs that utilize the FSUIPC format interface to "talk to" the sim.

Hey John,  Here's wishing that you have a nice day,

At last I now have an understanding and value of the program.   In the past, in the many post I've read where "that" program was mentioned,   The " back and forth " dialogue  went way over my head and I guess I felt sorta more like my  PC name. :-[

I really appreciate you explaining the basics of that program and keeping it in a "nutshell" so it can be understood.

     Thank you so much,       caveman
