You know ?  I haven't even looked for one yet. I'd imagine the old standby is stil there.  Takeoff from KSFO and head out into the Pacific. Head WNW and you'll see it in no time.

Try to land on it in a C172. Set up your approach high, slow and steep..  flatten it out just before the deck, full flaps and plan to stall , even getting just below the deck before a good, strong flare, plopping you down with little speed still left.

:D   Approach at 2000', 10nm out,  switch on your tailhook, get rid of the autopilot.  2clicks on flaps, adjust throttle to approx 180k.  The carrier deck is roughly 65' off the water so steadily lose altitude.  About three miles out full flaps and keep airspeed around 160k.  I come in a little high, 200-250' but just short of the landing strip I reduce airspeed to 140 and ease it on the deck.  It is a harrowing experience and don't be surprised if you find that you are shaking after you touch down.  Practice makes perfect!

uncleyuk...read his post again. It seems he doesn't have add ons for a carrier landing. Your method is fine if you have ArrCab. But without it, you will fly straight off the deck.

:-/   You are so right my friend.  Oh well if he can ever download an addon carrier to FSX he will have an idea on the approach.  I wonder if any of the FS9's will work.

I have managed to to land a sptfire on it but it was just by shear luck i still had to much speed at the end of the deck so i had to throw in full rigt rudder and use the differntial brakes to turn it around backwords and throw it into full throttle to get it stoped
