To fly at Mach3? I just downloaded the upgrade and I can't get that going any faster than Mach1.

I'm guessing you mean the Ex-Payware Alphasim one?

Have you tried using the Flap keys? Extending them all the way in FS9 always made the thing sky-rocket for me (Vertical climb to 99,999 with speed to bleed off still).

If that doesn't work, try pressing "Shift+F4". If FSX still has it, that's the default command for Afterburner/Reheat

I originally downloaded it here and just a few days ago an upgrade to that was posted in the downloads area. I will give those tips a try. Thanks for responding.

If I'm looking at the right one, then all you have to do is go full throttle, then press the period key. That should be in the checklist under "Takeoff." A little farther down in the list it says something about "Inlet Spikes," which are controlled via the flaps. This was mentioned by Isak922 earlier, and that helps out quite a bit too. Mach 3 should be no problem after that.

Hope this helps.
