Stopping Services and Autorun apps for a user

Postby brycelawson » Sat Jun 09, 2007 10:32 am

Hey guys,

I've been reading about increasing the preformance of FSX. I understand how to disable services, apps, and everything else the consumes resources that FSX needs, but I have a unique problem.
As I dont have a fully dedicated gaming PC (about 75% of my system is dedicated to gaming, 15% dedicated to services, and the other 10% dedicated to other apps) I have to run some services and apps that generally need to run under normal circumstances. However, when I am playing I game, I need an easy way to quickly disable all resource-hogging processes. Is there anyway to do this quickly, like with a batch file or some kind of automation?

Thanks!
- Bryce  ;)

EDIT: This probably needs to be moved to the general tweaking forum. :p
