Navigation, lat and long

is there any way to enter a lat and long only way point into the GPS?   not an airport but any lat and long you want?  I am finding that navigation is rather tuff unless you want to fly to an airport.

any help?

You can enter intersections, waypoints and fixes into the GPS by their

bahhhhhhh  well I hope they FIX that!!!  how am I supposed to fly out to my favorite fishing spot?? >:(
