Why are all the lights blocky!

Why are all the lights blocky!

Postby fighter25 » Sat May 05, 2007 2:56 pm

Today I decided to get on to FSX. When I got in to my flight and I turned on the lights they look like blocks. Then the afterburners are blocky to on every fighter too. The thing that's weird is that every thing looked normal before.  :-/
What happened? Should I turn up a slider or defrag?
Thanks in advance.

This sounds strange  :-?
Could you post a screenshot of it, so that we can see how it looks like, please ?
Right now I think that maybe your video card drivers settings (not the settings in the game, the ones in the drivers, in Windows) have been changed in some way.

No the runway lights are normal. Could this be a graphics card problem? :-/

I ran across a few oddball problems with FSX (not like this though), and deleting the fsx.CFG cured them. Might be worth a try...

Have you check if this plane was made using makemdl9 ? Have you seen another shots token from FSX with this lights on? You have to make sure is this model was made Using the new format SDK-FSX otherwise Won't be no effect no landing/Taxi lights in a millon years (Unless they make an adaptation add a newin the makemdl_parts.XML )..Period

and the FSX.CFG is

first:Set

Does it happen to all the aircraft or just that F-35?

OK, I'm sure this is a pointless question, but you do have filtering and anti-aliasing on, right?

I assume as you said that all the planes including the Default ones do this,...NOW go to the fsx.cfg I told you above make sure you have the folder setting in Unhide hiden files otherwise you wont see this folder

Go (again) here

C:\Documents and settings\Your name\Microsoft\FSX

With Very careful Take this entire folder out from the Microsoft folder put it somewhere like in the desktop ,Do not delete it !!!!
