How does it works exactely ? Do you need to specify an altitude for your airport terrain ?
I was thinking that maybe, the surrounding terrain in FSX has not the same altitude as in FS9, so maybe you would need to make you airport higher ?

Which airport is that? I will take a look and see if mine shows the hole.

Well, my guess was to use the same software that you used before, to create a new BGL for that airport with increased altitude, then import this "addon scenery" in FSX in the normal way, just like you would import an addon scenery in FS9, and see if it works...

PS: maybe you should have created this topic in the "scenery design" forum, you would have got much more answers.

Was this in FS9 I could suggest you to try and change the elevation of the airport in AFCAD (sometimes it works like a charm immediately, some other times needs some tweaking, but it worked all the thee times I tried), but unless Lee Swordy changes his mind and decides to update its GREAT program... :(
