There is very little of what we "don't" know at this point considering how word spreads in the FS community.

Definately around Christmas.  There may be many holidays in the US, and many more holidays in Thailand, but almost every country in the world celebrate a widely accepted 'universal' holiday.

Christmas! ;)

Wasn't the other article (interview) from avsim already giving the release date ? I remember about November - December. So Yes, looks like around Christmas, more or less :)

The "holidays" in the United States start during the period the xmas decorations go up. Generally the beginning of the "holidays" for merchants is regarded as the 3rd week of November, or, Thanksgiving. The day and weekend after Thanksgiving has always been the biggest shopping period of the year in the USA.

He was quite smart in leaving that detail open and regardless of what has been posted for pre-orders, the official release date has not as of yet been 'officially' decided.

EDIT: However, do not expect MS will be stupid enough to miss the biggest shopping dates of the year for xmas purchases ;)

...which means at the latest it should ship the first week of November.

;D

He talks about the most advanced physics engine yet.

Re complaints he sights graphic detail as the biggest issue.
