error mesage  re Dem4km.bgl file

I get error message Dem4km.bgl file missing or broken. I have located it on disc 3. How do I effect a repair  without a complete re-installation? lusitano

Dem4km.bgl goes in the ..\Scenery\Base\scenery\ folder. You can just copy from the CD.

With XP or later right click on the file name on the CD, select copy, and then paste into the ..\Scenery\Base\scenery\ folder.

Many thanks for your help I actually worked this out (a minor miracle) and did as you say, but then (after repeating the process with another 4 errors) microsoft would not let me boot up the sim. I am at present reinstalling it for the umpteenth time. This is no big deal, the problem is with the numerous add-ons!! Fortunely I have,  (at present) an excellent FsX, but of course this has some disadvantages.. Again many thanks. lusitano.
