C:\Documents and Settings\YourName\Application Data\Microsoft\FS9.

I think most of us forget from time to time where exactly this is. Not a stupid question at all!  ;)

This is exactly what I did.  I get tired of having to go through 5 folders just to fix 1 file. so now I have a shorcut on my desktop to just the FS9.1 and FSX .CFG files

Since FS9.cfg is a 'hidden' file, what, exactly, is the shortcut path to Desktop?

You can also remove the "hidden" attribute.

The next time you navigate to the file, simply right click on it and select properties and then uncheck the hidden box.  ;)
