Postby tcco94 » Thu Feb 19, 2009 10:46 pm

You might think this is late but im buying fs2004 (only because my computer cant handle fsx anymore and I got suggested into fs2004).
Since there isnt a fs2004 official website I was wondering if anyone has a link of all the default airplanes and im sure noone will type them all up on this forum...

Not much else to do at 5 in the morning while waiting to wake the children up and get them off to school. ;D

That, and the box was sitting right next to me. ;)

Funny part is, I've had this one since 2005, and I still haven't flown in over 75% of these planes! :D

Same here...;)...!

I have my preferred selection from the Default Aircraft, just a few, and those are generally the ones I stick to... :-*...!

...of course, the "Default" ones are invaluable for use in Multiplayer flights, when we all wish to be seen in our selected Aircraft, with the minimum of fuss.. :)...!

Paul....G-BPLF...FS 2004...and off to Monterey Bay for a spot of sight-seeing... :-*...!

TCCO94, a word of advise, the default planes really dont matter, when you get FS9 setup just post the question here about what kind of flying you like and which planes to get and you'll soon have a list of great AC that are years ahead of the default planes.
To be honest with you.........I forgot there even are default aircraft in FS  ::) it's been that long since I tried a default plane.
And I almost forgot..........welcome to the other FS  ;)

Well your right I never really fly them in fsx anyways but just wondered what other sort of airplanes I might look forward to flying. I am looking forward to FS2004 because you dont know how many add-ons ive wanted that wont fully work with FSX because they were made for 2004. ;)

Im hoping it can be less stress on me with this game. FSX just drove me to the limits I had to turn everything beyond extremly low... 8-)

Thanks shane

Since I don't fly those old planes and the big cigar shaped things, I kicked all the default planes out of my Aircraft folder except the Cessna's, Baron, King Air and Piper Cub. Don't need the rest (when you replace you AI).

Crash ;)

Edit: List of the best add-ons

Is there any problems with fs2004 online?
Is it hard to keep logged in and find matches?

That is one of the best features of FS9! Never a problem with online play like FSX has! ;)

Never has FS9 told me that I'm logged in from a different computer! :D

And there are plenty of servers available to use, the SimV, and WSP servers are widely used, and quite stable.

The WSP server is usually full of activity 24/7, while the SimV server is usually only really active on the weekends. ;)

Sean and I will be doing an online flight today at 2:30 est. in Australia if you're interested in joining in. :)

We'll be using the SimV server (as always ;) ) just go into the multiplayer tab in FS9 and in the IP address bar enter: fs.netfrag.org
and click search and then join when the server is found, then go to create a flight and set things up as normal. ;)

No default server, that's why it's so problem free! ;D

Microsoft thankfully didn't try to have the strangle hold on the MP side of things back then. ;)
