I'll be uploading an FS9 airliner environment upgrade today that I've been working on for a while for my own amusement, and incorporates latest version of my old favourites. This is what it does:
Upgrades:
Autoland: more realistic setting, and now sets calculated Vr in autopilot.
Engine Exhaust System: now reduces visual engine exhaust at high altitude.
New:
VNAV: simplified generic ascent and descent modules.
Autocabin: auto-generated cockpit and cabin announcements.
Auto-off: Co-pilot assistance at touchdown.
Wingtip vortices: dependent on environmental conditions a la FSX.
Engine abuse warning: use max throttle indiscriminately and you'll get an aural warning followed after a delay by your engines cutting out!
3D high altitude contrails: including initial rotating burst and extended contrail, to replace default 2D trails (works with AI also).
Also, tips on starting cold-and-dark.
These are modular, so you can install as many (or as few) as you want. Full manuals will be supplied.
Coming later today!
