POSKY 777 VC for FS9...HELP.

Postby f-16 » Tue Jan 27, 2009 11:10 am

I downloaded the POSKY 777 from the POSKY website and it works great! All except for the VC. All my screens are grey?? Am I missing a file? The POSKY forum was no help on this, so I am asking here.

How do I get the POSKY 777 VC for FS9 to work?

Thanks.

Does it look as if the cockpit is there... but its all grey? No details? If so... you either forgot to download the vc textures, or did not put them in the right place. The textures for the vc should go into the texture file of the aircraft you are using.
My specs... A hard drive, motherboard, graphics card, some memory, a keyboard, mouse, and monitor - in other words, nothing special.

Here is what my VC looks like. The instructions that came with the file did not say anything about any other files that had to be loaded.

I checked and it seems that all of the files are in the right place in the panel and texture folders.

You need the proper panel.cfg file for the VC ;) It is a separate download.

That's weird. The plane came with a NEW panel.cfg. I found it in the panel folder. Here it is:

I'm beginning to think this 777 package did not come with all the VC files.

you fail to mention what plane you downloaded. If you downloaded one of Corey Ford's paints then you need to download the proper files.

http://www.projectopensky.com/downloadfile.php?filename=os777v2_VC_panel_SP2A.zip

Download that and it should work ;) also be sure to update your model and FDE for the best experience
