Please provide the exact file name (???????.zip) of the download you are having problems with AND where you download it from.

That way one of us can install the aircraft and perhaps offer some advice.

...mmm....judging from the way you have written the name in your post I would hazard an educated guess at    iberia_regional_atr-72.zip   ;) The included gauges folder needs to have it's CONTENTS placed in your main fs9 gauges folder...NOT the FOLDER but the entire contents that is: including the UNOPENED .cab files.........

I will warn you though that I have tried this aircraft and some of the gauges don't line up with the panel bitmap and need some fiddling around with their placement parameters to get them to line up.....

Have fun....commoner ;)

The way to do that...if you really think it's worth it....would be to first open the panel.cfg of the particular aircraft and identify the problem gauges from the list.

The first two of the four numbers for each gauge are the screen coordinates for that gauge...the other two are the size of the thing.

Change these numbers to line up the gauge with the panel bitmap...trial and error may be your best way until you get the hang of things......

Make a copy of the panel.cfg first so that you can at least go back to square one if you mess up.........

Have fun...it's all a useful part of the learning curve...........

Hi

I just had a look at the ATR, and it will not matter where you place the gauges on the panel, it appears that the gauges themselves in this version are the problem, in that the elements that make up the gauges are off centre to the gauge, resulting in things like the needles of the gauges being to the left of centre of the gauge, and the PFD instruments being off centre for the surrounding bitmap and also oversize for the bitmap.

I would look for the file ATR72_500_panelfix.zip on SimV, its an updated panel for the ATR72 by the same author, which although slightly different in the presentation does seem to work (I

OK Jim.......well spotted. Saves flyb. a bit of work messing about in the panel.cfg :)

Better look for another panel or a fix as Jim suggests........sorry for the duff gen.   It will  allow you to move stuff around as I said; but not in this case eh?
