Yep, under the GENERAL section of the aircraft.cfg, which should be directly below the section for liveries, there should be the following two lines:
[General]
atc_type=
atc_model=
...etc.
If your section does not have these lines, you can add them with no problems, and then try various entries to suite whatever aircraft your flying. Unless you are using EditVoicePack, the default MS list is limited when it comes to more exotic types, but feel free to experiment, there are more built in voice idents than you may think.
Here's an example of what can be found in one of my aicraft:
[General]
atc_type=TUPOLEV
atc_model=Tu154
