Carriers Scenery Package...

Postby avoidz » Mon Oct 27, 2008 9:22 am

Hi :)

I have the FS2004 Carriers Scenery Package 18 landable carriers across the world by Rich Hogen installed.

Sometimes when I take off from the carriers, fly out a fair way, then return to the carrier and try to land, my aircraft goes right through the deck like it isn't there.

Does the game somehow "forget" the collision detection on the carrier objects? or is the carrier pack somehow flawed?

Cheers! :D

I would say something is rotten in Denmark. If you are able to taxi around on it with out falling through then you should be able to land on it.
It sounds like there may be a problem.
I suggest before you take off to taxi around every square inch of it if you are able to do that then you should be able to land. if not I would trash the scenery as it is flawed. 8-)

Thanks. Yeah, it does seem solid enough just taxiing around the deck.

Probably the scenery add-on itself, then :-/

I just downloaded this, how do I put it in the game? Thanks.

Also, how do you extend the wire puller thing on military aircraft?

The F/A 18 from KBT team found here:

http://www.simviation.com/cgi-bin/syb.c ... 18e_sh.zip

FS2004 military pag 18

An now I`m looking that there is a panel for the F-14 with integrated arrestin cable and catapult here:
http://www.simviation.com/cgi-bin/syb2. ... 4car04.zip
But I didn't test this one.
Hope it helps

I have downloaded that f-18 like three times, any every time it only has textures in it.

If it didn't work the first time there's no point in downloading it again. Look for another zipfile inside fa-18e_sh.zip named FA-18E_SuperHornet.zip. This contains the complete aircraft with an astounding number of variations.

Is that F/A 18 from KBT for FSX only, or is there a FS2004 version?

Cheers :)

EDIT: Ah, it's okay, I have already downloaded that model :D

(It is on page 19 - http://simviation.com/fs2004military19.htm)
