If Memtest didn't find any error, then maybe your RAM is OK. In that case, it looks like you are experiencing hardware overheat. I could be a problem with the fan of the CPU, or the fan of the video card.

Just try something: turn all the FS settings to the minimum, and see if you can fly longer. If yes, then that means that normal settings are causing overheat. If not, you might want to update a driver or two (motherboard chipset, video drivers, etc...)

Alonso, you didn't give us your new computer's specs.

When I got a new PC about two years ago, I ran FS and had similar freezes at random times, anywhere from 30 seconds to 90 minutes.

Thanks for the replies, here are the specs:

Core2Duo E7200 2.53Ghz
Intel DG31PR motherboard
Nvidia 8500GT 512mb

Daube, all my temperatures are ok, and just checked the inside of the PC. All 3 fans running without problems... :-[

The fact that the fans are running is not always a proof.
It can be a problem of contact between the CPU and the fan body (what's the english name... the metallic part, heat sink or something like that ?) which prevent the heat to go away as much as it should, stuff like that.

Have you tried running on minimum settings ?
