It's the update that gives the error message and will not install, and am looking for an answer to that issue.
All you should need to do is download and install the base pack, and then the update, and your Alpha Bleu Ciel Vought Corsair should behave realistically.

The Corsair was built around it's enormous engine, and you absolutely cannot just slam the throttle forward and takeoff normally. In fact, it is not even necessary, or even recommended by some, to have full power on the takeoff.
The engine has over 2,400 horsepower on it, and I would fully EXPECT it to have such a large amount of torque on takeoff at full, or near-full throttle, that the pilot would not be able to handle it.
Hagar, thanks; I wasn't sure if one could still do a manual install in the presence of an installer utility (grown too fond of them, I guess) but I'll try that as you suggested. Staiduk, that's exactly what I did when I first installed - changed the .cfg to lessen torque and P factor (iirc) I had hoped the "fix" would take care of that. I'll do the manual install as Hagar suggests. Will post results. Thanks again, folks.
