ISD Project LIRF Problem Scenery

Postby a1 » Sat Aug 09, 2008 5:48 pm

Well I installed the scenery just as normal with no hitches but when I go in the sim I find these.

Large rectangular objects located around the airport. They look like missing trees and missing tree textures. I uninstalled the scenery and installed it again with the same results.

I had no problems with this scenery before so i have no clue.

The wrong texture file is in the folder. Chk out you download textures in the zip file.

Or open up the bgl files in ms word and look for texture files by a search for and 0f >
r8, bmp
Long winded but you get there in the end

Alex...

Very often with this type of add-on scenery, the installation instructing in the Readme File often mention that you should also have certain "xyz Building Textures", "xyz Tree textures, etc, already in place, ....if not, to install them...;)...!

This happens a lot with Alaska Bush Scenery Files where you need to obtain Texture Files from other sources..;)...!

Have a peek at the download instructions again...;)...!

Paul...G-BPLF... 8-)...!

Have you got Gerrish Grey's Tree Textures installed?

i have Gerrish installed. Now the texture that I am missing where can i get it? For my last install of this scenery i didn't do anything different and I had all of it.

The Readme doesn't state anything missing.

Mine is perfectly fine, by the looks of the trees available there, they are enlarged defaults, so try reinstalling the default trees and see what that does.
