Anybody has any problem with the ifly-747-400?

Postby akka » Tue Jul 22, 2008 11:05 pm

I have managed to find a 747-400 with a FMC contained in the ifly-747-400. The reveiws are quite good. However, when I try to create a flight with the 747. It crash my FS9. Looked at the problem. It is with the gau files. Anybody has any comments?

I downloaded this set of airplanes a while back. Got nowhere with it. They now set at my virtual mothball airport out in the Mojave...

Same here; just too fussy and difficult. Went PMDG and never looked back  8-). The models aren't of the best quality anyways.
I've never had a gauge problem though. Good luck akka.

Well good to know that I'm not the only one with problems. Have deleted the plane already. Having too many planes in my aircraft folder already. Doesn't need one that doesn't work. Have flown many models of 747s from 200 up to the fictional 800s. Just make two trips from Heathrow to JFK and back with the new opensky model. Flies like an airbus rather than a Boeing.

Which model resembles the real thing most? Any real life Jumbo pilots have any suggestions? Also good to have one with a simulated FMC built in.

Well, I had a go with it. Found it quite confusing, it seemed to have 3 autopilot on switches, and I coudn't work out the FMA.
