CLS A340-500/600 Wingview Editing

Postby Bradley27 » Sat May 03, 2008 4:21 pm

There are 3 folders for CLS A340-500/600

"CLS 345", "CLS A346 56", "A346 556"

Inside the first folder mentioned "cls345" ive gone into the panel folder and there is a panel cfg there and thats all,nothing else, in the cfg is this text only....
[fltsim]
alias=CLS_A346_556\panel

then in the folder "cls a346 56"
the same again...

[fltsim]
alias=CLS_A346_556\panel

and thats all thats there as well

and then in the cls 346 556 folder is where it gets alittle different,
in that panel folder is the 2d cockpit images and a panel cfg that has alot of common imformation normally found in a cfg file

I have understood that this folder is for the A340-600 because i have sucessfully added the new wingviews i wanted (and previewed them in action) but i want to do the same for my A340-500, i have no idea where to place the info tho as there isnt a CFG to paste to!!!!!

From what you're saying the 'cls345' & 'cls a346 56' are aliased to use the panel in the 'CLS_346_556' folder.  Any modifications to the 'CLS_346_556' panel (like adding wing views) should work on both aircraft. If you wish to modify them separately paste a copy of the 'master panel' (that's the Panel folder in the 'CLS_346_556' folder) into the main folders of the other two aircraft. They will then each have their own panels instead of being aliased to the same one.
