Another One Out of Curiosity....

Postby Sean_TK » Wed Apr 16, 2008 3:08 pm

Last one!

Just wondering what global region you find yourself flying the most in!

Last poll for a while, I promise!  ;)

I know some regions can be somewhat ambiguous in their physical boundaries, so here are some wikipedia articles that I am using to base my regions on. (Look at their country list for each article. Political boundary preferences are abound when looking at the various articles though...so just use your judgment, and specify if you need to.)

North America for me, purley because of the huge range of scenery, from snow topped mountains to deserts, I love it ;).... Europe, despite being my "homeland" is boring to fly in.... all too flat and green.....

Asia is my most frequent place to fly,I mostly fly Singapore Airlines as they're my favorite airline,I usually fly Singapore-Jakarta,Singapore-Bangkok,Singapore-Hong Kong.

Although I'm English,I also rarely fly around UK too,my Hometown being Manchester, usually take a BA to Heathrow.

Northwest USA & western Canada because of the scenery.  I love mountains, water, and green.  I live in central New Mexico; water and green are sorely lacking.  Used to fly the Caribbean for the same reason, but I now do so only before or after one of our 2-3 yearly cruises.

...looks like my daily trips from "Flat" old England to the fantastic, variable  scenery of Sunny California over the past 10+ years, looks popular!...;)...!

Hi Fozzer.
Can you recommend a short flight in the area you love so much? I'm looking to become a convert ;D

Best.
Zaphod

Hello Zaph... ;)...!

San Francisco to Los Angeles....

KSFO to KLAX.

Following the Pacific Coast on above Highway 1.

...or slightly more inland, KSFO to KLAX following Highway 101 down Silicon Valley...;)..!

Lots of nice, varied scenery...!

Do it in short hops, in a nice Piston Prop!

Take a Relief Map of California with you..nice Geography lesson!...;)...!

Have fun Zaph!.. :)...!
