Team FS KBT P-3 question.

Postby Reno » Sat Mar 01, 2008 4:48 am

This area seems to get more traffic than the add on forum, and this problem has really been bugging me.

Whenever I try to use the Team FS KBT P-3 or CP-140 in anything more than Clear weather, within about ten minutes I lose all electronics. GPS, autopilot, radio, all that. When I go into the failures, the Electronics Failed is always ticked, when I un-tick it and go back in the sim, I don't even get a second or two with them back up, it instantly goes back to to being failed.

Can anyone help?

Cheers

Odd I had the same problem. Never could solve it so, I got a P-3K off the Royal New Zealand Air Force site.

Sounds to me like you need to find the generator switch and turn it on.

You know, that could be it. I'll give that a try.

Beyond making sure that all four generator switches are active, you may need to assign a key for the alternator. There is a generic battery and avionics master switch in the plane, but not having a proper alternator setup linked with it might cause some problems.

Good Luck,

It seems to be working just fine now, all four generators are online and teh alternators are on. First real IFR flight that's lasted 30 minutes so far in horrid weather!
