FSX or FS2004

Postby StatusQuo1991 » Mon Dec 24, 2007 8:30 am

I am just curious as many people i have spoken to prefer FS2004. I would like to hear your opinions. However, having never played FSX i am unable to comment.

Been posted before...

...lots of times...

..but...

I have FS '98, FS 2000, FS 2002, FS 2004, and FSX

..and at the mo', to be able to run the my Sim flat-out, with all my add-ons, etc, and with all my sliders at Max, it has to be my lovely old FS 2004.... :-*....!
.
..and FS 2004 works flawlessly in all our various Multiplayer Outings, (here, and at other Sites)... [smiley=thumbsup.gif]...!

Same here. FS2004. Never tried FSX. Won't run on my pc the way FS2004 runs. So it would be a waste of money.

Crash ;)

PS Paul, does Jordan know you have something with Abby now?

I am still able to keep Jordan, Abby.. :-*..., and my lovely FS 2004 perfectly satisfied, altogether, for the foreseeable future....

...providing I continue to take the Tablets... ;)...!

...LOL... ;D...!

Paul....getting a bit breathless now and again.... ::)...!

I have FSX and FS04.  I usually spend my time on FS2004 just because it runs better, looks better (on my computer), and I like the functionality better.  I wish FSX still had the same aircraft selection screen.  The thumbnails are inconvient to me.

Both!
FS2004 for the big ones, trans atlantics, airbuses, boeings.....
FSX for slow and low and space....

Both sims are great!

Cheers,

I have both FSX and FS2004 I use FS2004 somewhat more than FSX only because I have more addons for it than I do FSX I have not moved any of my payware aircraft from FS2004 to FSX as I am not sure if they will work. I like to fly the old B727-200 and FSX does not have one yet I have the Captian Sim Legendary B727-100/200 series. But since I got Active Sky X and X Graphics for FSX I have been flying FSX a little more. I am waiting for the FSX version of FSNAV.

Unfortunately, I have so many Payware, etc, add-ons that are only available for FS 2004, and will not work with FSX... :-/...!

Even with my new system I have loads of problems with FSX and I have never had (software) issues with FS2004. FS2004 has plenty of addons to make it look good if not much better than FSX. Not to mention FS2004 is much easier on the system.

:D  I have them both and I still prefer FS9 over FSX.  I run FS9 on any setting I choose to run; FSX just lays there and moans!

Hey Foz, I'm fairly new here but after reading your specs at the bottom of your post I must ask.....Are you one of those guys a girls mother warns them about.  A MUSICIAN

I'm not normally one to blow my own Trumpet, Uncle...

...but when it comes to the Ladies, I can certainly do some expert Fiddling, and my French Horn is the delight of all the Ladies in the Orchestra.... ;)...!

In the evenings, we all gather together for a group Performance...
..and If I am very lucky I might add another String to my Bow.... ;)... ;)... ;)...!

Mozart is on a loser when I get my Baton out...Trust me!... 8-)...!
