Just a couple of questions

Postby wyodeacon » Mon Mar 19, 2007 11:41 am

Hey, here I am asking questions again... :)

Is there some way I can set up my sim so that I start from a gate or a parking spot rather than on the runway?  I have been looking in the learning center and also in the manual but can't really find anything.

Thanks once again for your help..

Yeah, go to location and chose an airport then near the bottom there is a box that says Active Runway, simply select where you want to start from, from this drop down menu.

Look in the Faqs, voice number 3. It's all a matter of changing your default flight. ;)

All you have to do is after you select the airport you want look in the lower left hand corner where it says starting point click on that window and it will bring up all of the parking spaces for that airport select the gate you want than save the flight and check the box to make it the default flight. 8-)[glow=yellow,2,300][IF YOU STILL HAVE PROBLEMS LOOK AT A SIMALAR POST IN THE FSX FORUM AS WELL IT IS A LITTLE MORE DETAILED/highlight]

The internet has a lot of crap on it! Didn't your mothers tell you not to believe everything you hear?

wyodeacon, not all airports have parking spots, so you might have to start on the runway.

PAI had a lot of afcad's available on their site. Can't get most of em anymore.
