The photo you have there is the "Q"... here is the promised pic of 'my' firebrand "R", recognisable by the longer nose. It has the legendary IO520 engines pushing out 285hp in standard form...

If you look closely, you can see the relatively rare windshield de-ice screen (vertical strip). Still fewer of these aircraft were in fact cleared for flight in known icing conditions, but having such a feature doesn't mean this is definately one of them.
The tail anti-col' is red and usually rotates. Same for the belly on your model. All the strobes are white. The nav lights are steady and illuminate as follows: starboard (green) 000-110 degrees; tail (white) 110-250; port (red) 250-360. Thus, using simple rules of relative bearing and colour, collisions are avoided, when using the 'Mk1 Eyeball'.
