SGA DC-10 30

Postby Rachet1031 » Sun Feb 05, 2006 1:22 am

I just D/L the DC-10 and flew a short flight in it. While taxing back to parking I noticed just under the front exit there is a small panel door that is open. I looked all over the panel for a switch or something to close it,, nothin. I also checked the readme files and couldnt find anything, tried the website and soon found out its a dead link. Any idea how to close it or a site were I can find an answer.

Thanks for the help

....Wow....I'd never have noticed that.........it doesn't even show on the .bmp texture file but it does look like it is open when you zoom right into it............I'm curious and will give it some thought but for now I'm stumped..........commoner.

I don't think they have programmed that door to be opened.

One of my fav' FS9 models this, see my avater pic! I always assumed it was some kind of air flap or maybe something to do with landing lights. As I rarely turn them off, I just ignored it! ::)

BTW, the tailhook command moves the flight engineer from his panel to takeoff position faceing forward visable from the outside, detail eh?

SGA doesn't exist anymore but the model's main designer, Eric Cantu, is one of the chief designers at Vistaliners. Maybe worth dropping him a line there, I also believe he's active on the Eastern VA forums as well.

Found out how to close it, simple, put the gear up!

For some reason, this flap opens when the gear goes down. Don't know why but another example of SGA's detail.
