Reinstalling Windows

Postby Vic » Tue Jul 26, 2005 4:01 am

Hey everyone. I have a liscensed version of FS 2004 but am missing the second CD (I moved in to a new place and cannot find it). Now I am buying a new motherboard, proc and video card - I know that after installing a new MB Windows needs to be reinstalled. Is there any way that I can edit the reg on the new Windows or do something for FS to work after I reinstall? (Keeping in mind that I cannot reinstall FS2004 and after buying the above hardware a new copy really is going to hurt my budget - more like kill it  :'( )
Any suggestions are appreciated!

...sorry to hear you have been unlucky enough to lose one of your cds but apart from contacting M.soft there doesn't seem any way that anyone could legally help.....FS9 can be picked up pretty cheap if you shop around.........others may know different .....they usually come up with something helpful here on SimV......commoner ;D
