I'm tickled pink and this game so far

Postby TwoLow » Tue Jul 12, 2005 11:50 am

So I've been playing a week or so now and spent yesterday diving into the AFCAD and TTOOLS to get Andrews AFB to be something other than deserted.

I marvelled this morning at what I had spend hours and hours making (trial and error figuring out how the code worked took the longest) and the end result is a bustling military base with Air Force One sitting all by its lonesome, VC-35 VIP jet, a E-4, several tankers, C-130's &C-17's, and others. Not all is realistic but its fun and I feel like a kid again  ;D

My dad already wants me to do up Robins AFB (we live beside it) since he flys out of there a lot and it too is defaulted to be deserted.

At the moment though, AF1 is sitting in Baghdad. I flew all day and arrived there around 4AM so the president could do a pep rally for the troop's morale. I guess I best get going before the sun comes up or I may encounter some RPG's  :P

This post is meaningless other than to express my excitement  ;)

I do hope I'm not the only one living a world inside my head  :o

TwoLow,

Ah... another addict is hooked.   ;)

Now to just lure him to the "Homebuild Cockpit" forum and his journey to the Dark Side will be complete  ;D,

Welcome to the fold, TwoLow.

Actually no. I downloaded and tried it but the program simply put a AI AF1 and the F-14 on the same flight path...didn't work if I actually wanted to fly myself.

I guess I'll just have to settle for flying alone for now.

I worry ( not much) about the level of (in)sanity in these forums.

You fellows do realize there is a real life out there beyond flight simulator (or so I've heard)?  :)

(Welcome to the madness!)

Probably just another wild conspiracy theory designed to get us all outside.

Yeah all the AFB are deserted in FS. If you don't mind why don't you put the traffic files you created for Andrews up in the library with a list of the aircraft required to make them work. I'm sure a lot of people would enjoy them.

I may one day post a file but not with this one...yet anyway. Its such a hogg pogg of planes that are not tail numbered to Andrews AFB or anything.

It hit me this morning, I think I will add the Thunderbirds to Nellis (I think thats where they are stationed) so I can see them when I fly over.

I wish i could quit my job and sit at home and play
