Dead easy question for the Resident experts...

Postby Si_Combat » Wed Feb 16, 2005 12:03 pm

Hi Guys...
I was wondering whether it was possible to use the mouse to look around in the Virtual Cockpit as opposed to using the Hat Switch on my joystick...
I've use other flying sims with this feature and, for me personally, gives a better sense of realism...
Does FS9 have this feature hidden away somewhere...???

Ya need to get Active Camera to do this. It's payware for FS9, but IMHO, worth every penny.

Lots of developers have their cockpit and cabin VC views set up to take advantage of this product

mouse: no
Hat switch (joysticks): yes - GET A J/S, worth the savings

although i heard you can "move" in the vc with the numpad, haven't found the addon for it

..mmm....F1 View specifically states that it IS for use with a wheel mouse....just have to be careful when clicking near other mouse controlled areas of the panel..commoner
