does anyone know what the fastest plane is and the biggest

Fastest:  F136 (but it's more concept than reality). Fastest existing known aircraft is still the Blackbird unless you want to include the Space Shuttle.

Biggest: I think the C-5 Galaxy or maybe there is a Russian transport that's bigger.

i know of some mun airports that won't give JetA, just AvGas, you can chage these options in AFCAD

That may be the reason behind the selective behavior of some gas pumps. Haven't checked it with different airplanes. Of course that's a silly feature since many aircraft including the default don't tell you what kind of fuel they use. For those with aviation experience that may not matter but for the entry level simmer it could prove a problem. Also there is no way I know of within Fs9 to tell what type the airport provides or even if it has fuel. That fact alone makes flight planning a little difficult. Only way I know of is to just land there and see. Of course there's always the menu refueling method. That one always works.  ;D

If you go to 'Aircraft', then 'Fuel and Payload', you can refuel by typing in the amounts of fuel you want.  You can also fill some tanks and leave others empty.

Especially useful for short flights - you can carry a reduced fuel load, which makes a big difference to performance.

Yup. And the Antonov 225 is a beauty I saw it at an airshow once. Takes one heck of a good pilot to place that puppy in a parking space.

But back on subject. I wish there was a way to set it so one pump at an airport would give AvGas and one would give JetA. Any possible way to do this? Or to control how it inputs gas so we could get something besides a full tank?
Pilot for a major US airline certified in the: EMB-120, CRJ, 727, 737, 757, 767, and A-320 and military, T-38, C-130, C-141, and C-5 along with misc. other small airplanes. Any questions, I'm here for you.

Actually, there is a third party freeware called airport chart viewer that has diagrams of every airport in FS, and tells you if they have fuel. you need Manuels Service pack 3 to use it.

Sorry for the off topicness but,
The fastest existing aircraft (Not including spacecraft): X-43 (Mach 9.8)

The largest aircraft: old Soviet made An-225

Actually, the SR-71 Blackbird was never the fastest aircraft. It was only the fastest to use air breathing engines. Its speed of mach 3+ was easily outdone by the rocket powered X-15 which reached mach 6.7. Even so, the X-43 also stole the Blackbird's record seeing how it is powered by air breathing scramjet engines (a step up from the Blackbird's ramjets.) ALSO, the X-43 may have gone even FASTER if the Pegasus rocket used to get it up to speed not gone out of control and sent it off at the wrong trajectory.

Where can I find the X-43? I checked here and at AVSIM. I even ran a google search for "X-43 and Microsoft Flight Simulator". Turned up nothing except some pictures of the actual flight and a site selling pictures of it. Would have checked FligitSim.com but as usual they were too "busy" for me to connect.

I doubt anyone has built one for FS as the real one is unmanned and only about 6 feet long. Did you notice that there are no good pictures of it? at least not on any of the sites I looked at.
