.cfg files

i am new to adding aircraft and their textures.  when i try to open the .cfg file, my computer tries to open it with outlook and i don't have the proper software to open it.  what program do i open the .cfg file with???  and where can i get it??? thanks...

I use Notepad to open the cfg files. Try right clicking on the cfg file, and a drop down list should come up, and it should come up with an option for "OPEN WITH" and select Notepad.  ;D

yes, a .cfg file is nothing more than a text file (an important one tho)

notepad will do the trick, just notepad, don't use word, i got some nasty results...
